It was a relief to have a washing machine available. The location was ideal, close to all the incredible sites and memorials of the Somme. And it was an easy drive to Albert and supermarkets. The best part? The quiet location, which was great for people with health problems or limited mobility. Plus, the inside of the house stayed cool even in the sweltering heat outside. And if you're a history buff, Authuille is the place to be, with its central location to all the main battlefield locations. The countryside in the area is absolutely stunning, with quiet roads and field paths for walking and traffic-free roads for driving. The house itself was very well-equipped, comfortable, and clean. And having the hosts live next door was a bonus, as they were always friendly and even provided a welcome parcel of essentials. The village was very peaceful, with minimal traffic on the road. And with shops just a 5-minute drive away in Albert, everything we needed was easily accessible. We were pleasantly surprised by the early access we were given and the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and stocked fridge. All in all, our stay at Welcome was truly mind-blowing and we would definitely book again.

The little house was a perfect home away from home, complete with fresh flowers and thoughtful provisions in the fridge. Celine and Hassan were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Authuille is centrally located for visiting all the main sites, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful for walking or driving. We would definitely book again.

We arrived a little early, but we were given access to leave our luggage and explore the area. Welcome was so welcoming, with fresh flowers and all the amenities we needed. The hosts, Celine and Hassan, were lovely and even provided essentials in the fridge. The location was perfect for visiting the Somme battlefields, and returning to our own little home was a cozy retreat in the heat. We highly recommend Welcome and would book again.

Stayed in a renovated barn from 1920, felt like living in the past. The nearest airport was Paris Beauvais-Tille, couldn't be closer! And oh, the thrill of cycling in the surroundings!
